“I Will No Longer Record Secular Music” – OJ Blaq

Ghanaian Hiplife musician, Andy Nii Akrashie known in Showbiz as Oj Blaq has declared his decision to stop recording secular music. The artiste made this disclosure in an exclusive interview with Hitz Fm’s Dr Pounds on Hitz High Table show.

We would recall that Oj Blaq was recently diagnosed of double kidney failure and has since been on admission at the hospital for treatments.

His ailment became publicly known when pictures of him bedridden, went viral on social media. Several stars in the entertainment industry have paid him visits at the hospital and have also been soliciting for funds for the artiste.

In the interview, Oj indicated that although he is not yet completely fit, he has been communicating with some music producers including Richie, and will soon go back to his recording business.

He however, stated that he will no longer record secular music owing to what God has done for him. According to the OJ Blaq, he is not condemning secular music as not being “God’s own”, but have decided to henceforth, record only Gospel because, he wants to preach God to people.

OJ Blaq came to the limelight to following his role in TV series, Sun City. He has also released musical hits like Chale Wote and Galanja.
