Prophet Owusu Bempah insists that the winner of this year’s Presidential elections is Nana Akufo-Addo
Founder and General Overseer of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry International, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah, has maintained his stand regarding his predictions of the 2016 general elections. According to his predictions, Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Addo, will emerge victorious at the end of the presidential elections.
The prophet had earlier predicted that Akufo-Addo will be given the nod by Ghanaians, although there may be some challenges. His prophesy however, has been met with mixed reactions from the public. A section of Ghanaians have lambasted the prophet, whom they claim is only playing party politics.
Not minding the criticisms, the controversial prophet has confidently stood by his words. Speaking to Yaa Konama on UTV’s Adekye Nsroma, Rev. Owusu Bempah insists that Nana Addo will surely win the 2016 presidential election. According to him, any prophet who predicts otherwise is surely not filled with God’s spirit. The prophet emphasized that based on what he has seen and heard in this pre-election period, Nana Addo is the “chosen one”.
Earlier in September, Prophet Owusu Bempah made a very controversial comment while speaking about this year’s elections. In what seemed like a threat, the prophet said that EC boss Charlotte Osei will die, if she rigs the elections in favour of the incumbent National Democratic Congress (NDC). The prophet had claimed that God will strike her with a strange disease which will send her to her early grave, should she falsely declare President Mahama winner.
There were also earlier claims that the prophet vowed to burn his Bible if Mahama ever wins this year’s election. Following his recent comments which appears to many as an endorsement of the NPP, the prophet has come under severe interrogations about a possible affiliation with the major opposition party.
But the prophet has rubbished claims that he is a member of the NPP. According to him, the fact that most of his prophesies favour the NPP, does not mean he is in any way affiliated to the party.
