The cause of the accident was stated to be an attempt by the 25-year-old Ghanaian international to overtake another car, resulting in him ramping into the taxi. Both cars were left with deformed bunnets.

While no official statement has been given, our source indicates that the player who is expected to be important to Avram Grant’s team ahead of 2017 AFCON, should be mostly good to get his game going as usual.

At the moment it remains unclear wether or not the defender would face any charges in regards of the crash or wether it would really affect his appearance in the AFCON which is scheduled to hold in January 2017. The latter is highly unlikely, as we gather he is less likely to miss out, ahead of the announcement of the team any time soon.
